mariposa foundation Grants

Must be at least 21 years old.

Must be a U.S. citizen.

Must agree to allow the Mariposa Foundation to conduct a background check to verify applicant’s identity.

Must use the Mariposa Foundation Grant Application, which is available on this webpage (see DOWNLOAD button below); substitutes will not be accepted.

Must provide a compelling justification for the charitable grants by explaining the proposed plan, to include specifying the proposed education and training program or activity and how it aligns with applicant's long-term goal pathway.

Mariposa Foundation grants can only be used for education and training programs and activities conducted within the United States, and the program or activity must be completed by the end of the following calendar year in which the grant is received.

Must not have received a previous Mariposa Foundation grant.

Must submit a Mariposa Foundation Post Grant Status Report by the end of the following calendar year in which the grant is received, which is available on this webpage (see DOWNLOAD button below); substitutes will not be accepted.

May 31st:  deadline for submission of grant applications to Mariposa Foundation via e-mail to Grants@Mariposa.Foundation.

June 30th:  deadline for Mariposa Foundation Advisory Board to assess and score grant applications and select awardees.

July 31st:   deadline for Mariposa Foundation to notify grant awardees and disburse grant checks.
