Mariposa Foundation is organized and operated exclusively for nonprofit and charitable purposes and is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; 100% of donations are tax deductible.

The Mariposa, or butterfly, is a symbol of hope and transformation.  We believe the Mariposa represents the process of rebirth associated with a fresh start, to stretch into your potential through meaningful education and training to achieve long-term goals and dreams. 

Our enduring goal is to empower deserving adults through small education and training grants to give them a hand-up, to let their dreams take flight and experience a transformation through the power of learning.
